पता नहीं, उसको मुझसे परेशानी क्यों है।
उसे, मेरी ज़िन्दगी पर हैरानी क्यों है।।

मर्द का दिल, पत्थर से कम नहीं होता यारों।
मेरा दिल तोड़ने में उसे आसानी क्यों है।।

भर जाता है हर ज़ख्म, मुद्दतों में पर।
मेरे शे’रों पर, उनकी निशानी क्यों है।।

दोस्त, यार, दिलदार; सब साथ हैं।
मगर हर लम्हा, एक वीरानी क्यों है।।
